Lucas²

Lucas² (pronounced "Lucas Squared") is a pen & paper game based on La Pipopipette and inspired by DOTGEON.

Like La Pipopipette, you and an opponent draw lines on grid paper to form boxes for points, but unlike La Pipopipette, the number of lines you draw are determined by a coin flip, and the points are squared to get the round's score.

The game is also self-referential in that it uses numbers from a particular Lucas Sequence called Lucas Numbers. So, power of two, because *both* Lucas Sequences and La Pipopipette were invented by 19th century mathematician Édouard Lucas.
